Web to go with i-phone????

Sorry for making another thread guys but i just got my i-phone and i have the 19.99 web to go plan. When i try to get on the internet it says "your current plan isnt compatable with this device" and it gives me the 34.99 data plan option. The whole reason i went with t-mobile over att was for the cheap data. Any help would be gratly apreciated.

Nevermind i changed the apn from the epc to wap.voicestream and now it works. Mods go ahead and delete.

But isn't epc.tmobile.com a replacement for wap.voicestream.com?? shouldn't you be able to use epc.tmobile.com with web2go??

i have the $5.99 tzones and it works fine with epc.tmobile.com, but when my friend tried to add it, he got the compability message as well.

anyone know how to get around it?? epc is just so much faster without having to go through the proxy.

Try adding epc.tmobile.com from Cydia THEN installing the T-Mobile tzones hack from Cydia.

i shouldn't need to add anything from cydia. the tzones hack from cydia uses the wap.voicestream.com proxy settings, which is what i am trying to avoid.

I've been on the web2go service plan on my 1.5 week old 3G iPHONE and i've noticed my EDGE "E" is very spotty. Sometimes going a whole day without having any access. Would any perhaps know the solution to this or the problem? my apn is: wap.voicestream.com

Yes, but the "E" is there regardless of whether or you have a data plan.

wap.voicestream.com works but epc.tmobile.com does not. It doesn't make sense to me.
