I bought a 400$ Iphone. It came with the Gevey SIM Unlock thingie. Well it's 2.1 software atm. What do I do? How do I add the internet and such. Do I need to do something? Thanks~!

yup yup. you can get internet via wifi for free. for the mobile data package you need to call tmobile and they will set you up with the Web2Go package which you now have to pay like 20 bucks for. they may have a 10 buck one too

i would just see if they will switch it over for you. im pretty sure its the same price...right? oh and make sure you DO NOT update to 2.2 firmware no matter what since you have a sim adapter. it WILL NOT WORK if you upgrade without the proper instructions.

you can, without the baseband update.

you can update like gamer says...but you need to make sure you do it right. you cant the standard update...it will mess up the phone so that your sim adapter will no longer work. let me locate a good tutorial to walk you through it. you actually just need a custom 2.2 file from someone who uses a mac. im sure someone here has one they can post for you
