Help! Importing SIM contacts

I've just unlocked and jailbroken my iphone 3g and connected to work on tmobile, however I wasn't able to import my contacts from SIM card. Did any of you have the same problem?

Yeah, I did, I went to the settings menu and requested to import my contacts from SIM, however the message that contacts being imported just blinked and dissapeared and it didn't do anything.

I think that you will just have to re-enter all of your contacts. My contacts wouldn't download to my iPhone, and that's what I had to do.

I had the same problem, and yes I had to add the contact 1 by 1 and it was a pain. There are some people I will never call again!! LOL

You can use the bluetooth to import the contacts if your old phone is equiped with bluetooth or just borrow AT&T sim card from somebody, move the contacts from your old phone into that sim and then insert the sim into the iphone.
