I got 2 bills so far. I'm using the 5.99 add on and no extra charges here. I wouldn't try it without a plan tho I'd be afraid of the extra charges

Sorry guys. Didnt mean to scare anyone. I talked to a Tmobile tech support guy today that came into my work and he said that tmobile is in the process of enabling epc APN on everyones account. This month they are getting rid of tzonez and launching a new service called web2go. Tzones members should not be affected and will be grandfathered into the new program at the same price. The epc APN is pulling data from their 3g network. Pretty cool cause speeds are fast as hell. As far as any extra charges anyone thinks they might get, dont worry he said you will not. The most that can happen is they can charge u 20 bucks for the internet package, but he said you could argue that and they would take it off.. Hope this shined some light on things...

yah same here. been a tmobile customer since 99. they always give me the "thank you for being a dedicated tmobile customer for the past 9 years" speach before i hang up or any time i gripe about something.

good to hear the epc is running off the 3g network. that could explain its greatness cuz its seriously fast for being edge lol

I'm using the $20 plan with wap.voicestream.com should I switch to epc? or should I switch to the 5.99 plan and then use epc?
By the way I used to use the internet2.voicestream.com but that didn't work anymore when I changed my sim card, and heard rumors about a internet3.voicestream.com, anyone tried that?

wow i just deleted the t zones hack and put in the epc apn and instantly it worked before i even rebooted. its much faster and now my aim and beejive im actually connects and stays connected for a while (using backgrounder) and youtube is working without being on wifi. whoever is either paying 20 bucks for data and or still using the wap or internet2 apn STOP IT NOW!!!!! and switch to the 5.99 plan and use the epc apn.

    Default data roaming?

do you guys have data roaming turned on with the new APN (epc.tmobile.com)??

i've found that it works most of the time with data roaming off but there are times where it won't work and will only start working if i turn data roaming on.

if i turn it on, will in incure more than the $5.99 monthly charge?

    any input is much appreciated.

On the T-Mobile Total Internet plan, changing the apn to the epc.tmobile.com doesn't work. Would love the speeds, but don't want a surprise bill being how much I depend on the internet on my device and want access to all apps and features on my device.

    ***EDIT***
Got it too work after turning on Data Roaming.... but speeds seems to be much slower for me... will test out some more and get back.
