my tzones was working fine on my iphone 3G 2.1 firmware but today the edge icon disappeared and it doesnt work anymore...im using a sim hack, i reset network settings, rebooted a couple of times, took out sim...any help?

Turn data roaming on. If this doesn't work then pop the SIM into a T-Mobile phone for a couple minutes.. browse edge a bit... then pop back into the iPhone. I've heard reports of having to do this every couple weeks.

Yeah same thing happened to me... had to put my sim into T-mobile phone for couple minutes.

this just happened to me too... yesterday it would work only minutes at a time.. would have to reboot every time to get it back(the edge icon was still there mind you. Then today my edge icon disappeared... will have to try putting it into a tmobile phone and get back to you.

btw.. Im using a 3G with a sim hack as well

UPDATE: the edge icon also disappeared even on my wifes 2G iPhone which is software unlocked. What gives? Could tmobile maybe doing maintenance on the towers here or something causing the edge to drop? Because everything else works

Oops, spoke to fast. The E now shows up again but it still won't connect to the internet. This is frustrating!

I called Tmobile about my edge because it wasn't working the past couple of days too. They said that tzones would absolutely not work on an iphone, even though I've read of TONS of people using tzones on their iphones. The representative I spoke with also said that they might be cutting off tzones accounts with too high of a kb transfer since tzones isn't made for the iphone. I hope they're not cracking down on this...
