Circle instead of "E" icon

Hey everybody, I've been J/U/A with 2.1 for about 3 weeks now. And just yesterday, i noticed that my "E" icon is now replaced with a circle icon and the internet connection is terribly slow. Everything was fine until yesterday. Im also running on the epc.tmobile.com APC. So is anyone else having this problem? Or is tmobile just having problems because iof the 3G roll out.

Ok i just figured out what the Circle icon means. It means im on the GPRS band. But im right smack in the middle of LA. This is the first time this has happen, so I hope its only temporary. Anyone in the LA area have this happening to them? Thanks

I have the same problem but the E and the circle goes in and out because when Am at work I have the E but when I come home I have the circle..?

The youtube works with the E but does not work with the circle and today I went to the iphonespeedtest.com and I was at 19kbs

Im in ohio, using iphone 3g with smartchip and 2.1 software and running on epc.tmobile.com

Does anyone have a answer to this problem

Talked to a tmobile internet guy and he said that the tzones wont last. I think he knows about the tzone backdoor and said that within a couple of weeks the connection drops. But i think hes BS'ing bc my buddy iphone is still working with the tzones and bigboss hack. I tried the hack and still no luck for me. I hope someone has a solution to this...
