Tmobile Edge down?

Hi,
I can't get my iPhone to connect to Edge, it's an unlocked 2G with 2.1 Firmware. The E logo doesn't even show up so I'm just wondering if anyone else is having this trouble. I'm in Utah. I had Edge yesterday during the day but when i got home had wifi so didnt' notice when it went off. thanks
edit: oh i've also tried changing the APN to internet1.voicestream.com internet3.voicestream.com, wap.voicestream.com and it's default on internet2.voicestream. i have total internet plan

Have you tried resetting your settings or rebooting the phone? I had that happen to me a couple times back on 1.1.4 and the rebooting fixed it...

thanks, i tried rebooting and even reset all my settings then a second latter the IT director at my company sent an email around saying that Edge for T-Mobile is in fact down in Utah. but thanks for your help anyways

I hope the system is just down since I lost mine this morning, yet I put my sim card in my old phone and it has the edge just fine.

I have something really weird going on. I still have internet but its really slow, and instead of the "E" edge icon, i have a sphere icon instead? Can anyone confirm this?

I have the same circle but I think its because I have less data connection in this area because when I go to work I have the E but when I come home I have the circle.

But for the problem above the only thing I can think of is try epc.tmobile.com and put your sim into your old from with edge surf the web for a little then put chip back in the iphone..

Actually this circle just started today. I had the fast Edge connection with the epc.tmobile.com APN all along. All of a sudden i get the circle. I wonder if there's something up on tmobile's side?
