I have first gen iPhone with T Mobile. I just upgraded to 2.0.2 with winpwn the other day. On my phone it shows that Im connected to my wifi and shows it connected on settings. When I go to use the net I get a Safari cant open the page because its not connected to the internet. Anyone got a solution. My edge is even worse! Says could not activate cellular data network. You are not subscribed to a cellular data service.

Sometimes in my house, my network will go down and my Iphone says that it is still connected even though my router is down. Thats the only thing that can think of that might cause your problem. Also, do you have t-zones activated?Viruses

I get this problem sometimes. It's ususally if I'm getting a really weak signal from my router or if my cable internet is down. If this only happens once in a while then I'd say leave it...but if it's happening all the time then you might have a problem.

This problem started monday for me. Yesterday, i was out of town and I had weak oe no signal almost all day edge. 3G. toggling airplane mode sometime worked for a short time, then i got
the message that my iphone could not make or receive calls and needs repair. Hard reboot got me going again but again only for a short time. Interestingly when I plugged it into my car socket. I went to 5 strong bars and had a great signal with no drops for the entire 2 hour drive home.
Knowing doom is imminent, when I got home I wanted to grab some files off the phone in case I had to restore suddenly. I couldnt conntect to wifi. Had full bars, was sitting 2 feet from my router (usually get 5000 - 7000kbs signal there) Rebooted, hard rebooted, toggled airplane mode - nothing. And yes, SSH was on. DOnt know what posessed me to think of this but I reinstalled Open SSL from Cydia, rebooted and was able to connect. Phone worked great almost all day today until I picked up the phone late this afternoon and it wouldnt wake out of sleep mode. Hard reboot got me powerd up again, but got the no wifi BS again. Full bars no connection. COnnected via iPHone tunnel and pulled the rest of my important files up. Resyncing right now because a restore is in order here.
I am not sure whether Im going to repwn or leave it stock to see if the problem reoccurs or visit Apple for a replacement.
So I would say at the least a restore and repwn is your iPhone's destiny.
