Can some one please help me sync my email with my iphone firmware 1.1.3for t-mobile?
1st it says cannot connect using SSL
Then it states “Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL Yes or No?”
If you choose yes after about 5mins
2nd thing it states
The IMAP server “imap.gmail.com” is not responding. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the “incoming mail server field.” Someone please help I really need this for work.

Try these settings:

Incoming Server: imap.gmail.com
Outgoing Server: smtp.gmail.com
Authentication: email@gmail.com + email password
‘Use secure Socket Layer (SSL)’
Ports: 587 Outgoing, 993 Incoming

i have this same problem trying to set up aol on my iphone.

anybody have any ideas?

How are you guys having trouble setting up your e-mail for AOL or Gmail? Because when you set it up all you have to do is click on the AOL or Gmail icon and put in the info you need..
