ok i just bought my iphone 3g 16g now i need help.

i used winpwn 2.5 to crack it for me

i used 2.0.1 firmware

the phone works i turns on can use as a ipod and i have wifi hooked up

but i put my tmobile sim in their and it wont allow to make calls

i downloaded the us tmobile carrier (internet 2), and bootloader 2.0, apps from cydia

i tried to run bootloader and it says please wait determining current setting then it wont do nothing i let it go for about 2 mins b4 i hit the home buttton.


plz help is their any other appliccaions i have to sownload from cydia b4 i can use my tmobile sim card?

also it keeps restarting and saying repair need iphone cannot make or recieve calls go to apple.com/support. but id rather come here because im trying to unlock it.

Sorry to tell you that, but you won't be able to make/recieve calls with your phone, because there is no Unlock for 3G iPhone. Dev team is working on it, but it is not sure that unlock will show up in the future.

You should've read before you bought it. For now you can use it as basically pretty much everything except as phone

STILL MADE OUT cuz they cost $400

apple is retarted how r they going to sell the ipod and the phone for the same price?

just checked it out the iphone cost 300 ITS CHEAPER

i need the software by tomarrow everybody pray lol it might work!

Sorry this happened to you. I wont rub salt into your wound by mentioning that a bit of research before your purchase would have revealed this fact.

As far as the pricing, remember, the iPhone is technically supposed to be sold to people on contract carriers who will be shelling out $30/month for the next 2 years. Thats $720 that iPod touch folks do not have to pay. ATT is subsidizing the price of the iPhones in order to lure people into the data and usage plans. Apple is receiving more per iPhone from ATT than ATT is selling them for.

those are all legally unlocked and come from countries that have laws against sim locking(like Italy)
