What are the benefits to 2.0.2 on a 2G iphone?????
I am currently running 2.0.1 on a 2G. Is there any benefit to "upgrading" to 2.0.2 or should I wait for the next update?

I have the same question. (currently running 2G 2.0.1)
As far as i know 2.0.2 fixes reception for the 3G iphones.
Hopefully somebody can answer this question.

Better reception.
Better battery life.
Way less keyboard lag.

09-02-2008, 05:15 PM #5Thank you for taking the time to answer my question but I did "upgade" to 2.0.2 and nothing has changed!!!!! I hope the big 2.1 release that has been discussed will accomplish the above and alot more!

I found that my 2G iPhone ran a lot smoother after the 2.0.2 update. Well worth it...still not perfect though.
