you have a 3g with T-Mobile? How did you unlock it? Is ATT providing the sim unlock codes already for these devices? I worked for ATT and they were very stingy with those codes. Hard to believe that they would let them go for the 3g already.

Thanks, I guess I'm holding on to make the 3G purchase cause there seems to be an overwhelming amount of information flowing around about jailbreaking/unlocking but a lot of it only works halfass. It makes no sense having a phone that only works sometimes or very limited. All these youtube videos are getting annoying claiming unlock iPhone 3G with T-Mobile but they don't tell you that half the features are totally inoperative.

So, the latest from Swirly Team is that they have a beta up & running with FW 2.x on the 3g & 2g. They have successfully sent & received mms from the 3g to 2g but they are still ironing out some issues. They said that they will release it somewhere this month (cross ur fingers) but of course no date exactly.
