T-mobile EDGE speeds

Hi,

I have the Iphone setup already with the $5.99 tzone plan in place, but I'm only getting 48kbps. I've read other post and people average about 160kbps or more. Is is possible I configured this incorrectly? What is everyone averaging here?

me 2!1im only gettin like 96.43 and i cant read my emails...it says "wasnt downloaded from server" any one?

It all depends on the area you're in. I got as high as 210kbps and as low as 45 but I do average 150kbps.

hmmm i guess i will have to test this in a different area. If i can get at least 150 kb i would be happy

when im at home i have two bars and get around 67

but when im at school i have full bars and get slightly less, however when im on the other end of town i get as much as 170
its the tower speeds, number of users, technologies, etc

now im not an expert on cell technologies but the way i understand it is you connect to more than one tower, if thats the case, the more towers the better
