downloads from application store not opening after i turn my phone off then on

my downloads from application store is not opening after i turn my phone off then on. i have a unlocked 2.0.1 iphone my ebay & aim will open then will close right away any body else getting this problem?

This is the infamous app crash that the inter-tubes have been up in arms about. It is a known issue and apple, evening the Jobs himself, has admitted is f-ed up. This was happening to my phone as well and in doing research, it looks like the issue is related to the latest version of itunes and not so much the iphone software itself. Are you using itunes 7.7.1? If so, you can downgrade itunes to 7.7.0. I did this and have not had any issues after syncing multiple times. For more details on how to do this, you can google "downgrade itunes 7.7.1" of "iphone app crash". There should be loads of info on this.
