    Default [1.1.3] My Success story with $5.99 t-Zones Hack
    I have an OTB 1.1.2 Jailbroken iphone recently upgraded to Nate's 1.1.3

    I'm a beginer at all of this so bear with me as I will attempt to explain everything I did to make this work.

    I signed up for the $5.99 T-Zones 4 days ago (i think waiting at least 3days has something to do with it making it work). I tried doing the hack via Installer, which did not work for me. I uninstalled it.

    I reseted all my network settings. I then went to my network settings and set this in my EDGE settings:
    APN: wap.voicestream.com
    Username: blank
    Password: blank

    I then figured out how to do the "Manual hack." In order to do this you should have installed OpenSSH (you can get it from Installer). This means you can "SSH" (whatever that means) your phone. It's sorta like ftp'ing your iphone. In order to get "in" I downloaded this thing called WinSCP. You can get it here: http://winscp.net/eng/download.php

    To get in you must have WiFi turned on, which is this only way your iphone can have an IP address to use in WinSCP. Find that IP address and use it WinSCP.
    The default username is root and the default password is dottie or dootie or maybe alpine
    I suggest you figure out how to change that password. Sorry, I forgot how to do this part.

    Once your in you will see folders. These are folders inside your iphone.
    Go to private/var/root There is supposed to be a file named proxy.pac
    If there isn't, make one. Just right click in the folder and select NEW, then NEW FILE. If there is a proxy.pac file there you can actually edit it (overwrite it). Enter this:
    function FindProxyForURL(url, host)
    {
    if (isInNet(myIpAddress(), "10.0.0.0", "255.0.0.0"))
    return "PROXY 216.155.165.50:8080";
    else
    return "DIRECT";
    }

    And save the file, then close the editor.

    Then, got to /private/var/preference
    if there is a proxy.pac file here, delete it. Somehow this was the missing step for me because I tried doing this manual hack for than 3 times.

    Go on to /private/var/preferences/SystemConfiguration (notice the lower case p in the path for preferences) don't choose the one with the upper case P. Here you should have a file called preferences.plist Right click on it and edit it. Over write it with this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
    <plist version="1.0">

    </plist>

    Save the file and close the editor. AND NOW YOU CAN CLOSE WinSCP.
    Now turn off and turn on your iphone.

    Go ahead and turn off your wifi so that the EDGE can engage and the try opening up google on Safari. AND THAT'S IT!

    I'm glad you were successful but the hack can be done through installer in a matter of seconds. The APN is even entered automatically. SSH procedure is defiantly not n00b friendly and leaves plenty of room for error if you don't know what you're doing.

    Thats alot of work.. just follow the 5.99 t-zones made easy.. worked for me.. after I upgraded to 1.1.3 i just sintalled the bigboss experimental source in the installer under all and applied the t-zone hack.. worked instantly.
