I installed the hack but only the mail works but not safari, btw im on 1.1.3, any ideas?

I'm on 1.1.1 but my friend has 1.1.3 and is currently unlocking it. I'll let you know if it works for him (may take 24 hours cause he doesn't have T Zones on his plan currently).

If wap.voicestream.com and internet2.voicestream.com do not work use internet3.voicestream.com, just got this from t-mobile works great

Is it just me or have they removed the tmobile hack from bigboss's hacks? They show a tmobile logo thing, but no hack? (1.13)

Works great. I had internal error for awhile, but then I installed BossPref 1.54 and disabled edge for a lil while, and then enabled it and I guess they connected me elsewhere and I got everything working now.

THIS IS FOR USA T-MOBILE USERS (tested working on 1.1.1 and 1.1.2)

1-on installer app go to "sources"
2-click on "edit" the click "add"
3-type in iphone.surrealnetworks.com/repo
4-hit ok
5-hit refresh
6-go to install section find "surreal networks"
7-install T-Mobile T-Zones Proxy
8-re-boot your phone

after installing go to settings>>>General>>>Network>>>EDGE>>>on APN field type in wap.voicestream.com leave Username and Password blank.

You just saved yourself $14 a month for the same service as the $19 a month plan. Enjoy!


You should also install Sticky APN so your APN settings are saved when you reboot or turn off your phone.

BTW this is working 100% for me.

EDIT: Please take note you tube does not with EDGE with this hack. You Tube will work fine with wifi.

Also, the hack may not appear to work right away. It will take about 5 minutes for your phone to recognize the settings so give it a little time.

Sticky APN is not needed on version 1.1.2


***FIRMWARE 1.1.3***

In installer go to All Packages and install Bigboss's Beta/Experimental Source
go to Tweaks (1.1.3)
install T-Mobile 1.1.3 TZones Hack
Restart phone and your done!

So for 1.1.3 do I need to do all the steps above "FIRMWARE 1.1.3" or do I just install Bigboss's beta/experimental source and the t-mobile 1.1.3 tzones hack? and that's all?

YES!! it finally works after 3 trys i got it to work. I tried it the first time and nothing would work at all. So i uninstalled it...., Tried some other stuff that didnt work, then tried it again on a different day. Still nothing... uninstalled it again. Than last night i read a post i seen in this thread about trying some different APNs (internet2.voicestream.com or internet3.voicestream.com) and thought id try that method. So i downloaded bigboss's, tweaks(1.1.3)- TZone hacks. After the restart, i powered down my phone and then turned it back on. Since i have free WiFi at work and non at home, i didnt check to see if it would worked. So this afternoon i started up the phone turned off the WiFi search, and checked to see if "wap.voicestream.com" was in the APN box. It was, so i exited out and check to see if anything was working. Weather updated for like 40 - 50 sec. and it WORKED. Checked Safari and nothing happened....... till i updated the page, it WORKED. Google maps kinda works i got the map up but my searches couldn't be found. Stocks work, and lastly youtube dosent work. All in all im happy great job.

I have a brand New 8GB iPhone 1.1.3 jailbroken with ZiPhone
