OK. I'm paying the $19.99 a month. Now do i cancel that internet plan from tmobile, or do i just download what you said, and i just pay the $5.99 from then on? Not quite sure about that.

Friday, bought my iPhone that night unlocked it, cha bang what do you know it works. Next day, Get 5.99 plan from t-mobile, install hack, takes a minute but works. Then the next day after that, it doesn't work anymore. Out of nowhere. So I try fixing it with apn settings or whatever and it just doesn't want to work. So I go to tmobile and change the 5.99 to 19.99 plan and I STILL can't freaking get edge. This is really irritating. I thought all I had to do with 19.99 is purchase it and your good from there? Also my iPhone version is 1.1.4 if that helps any. I just want internet to start working... Please help.

you still have to type internet2.voicestream.com under settings-general-network-edge, and then type what I typed under "apn". Then just restart the iphone, and it will work right away.

Just install T-Zones Hack from Installer under Tweak 1.1.4, then restart your iPhone.

Don't forget to call T-Mobile to activate your T-Zones service, could take about 5 minutes to 24 hours to get it work. Mine took about 5 minutes.

I'm running 1.1.4

I downloaded the Hack first, rebooted the phone , called tmobile told them to drop the 19.99 plan and at Tzone or now its called tmobile web for 5.99. made sure my apn is correct. Been about 3 days now and no, problems.

best 14bucks a month i ever saved.

HELP!! I have tried both the apn settings as well as the proxy fix but still nothing works. I can't even connect to my home wi-fi...can anyone with some patience help me. I have read all the guides and nothing seems to work. I have 1.1.4 firmware running t-mobile sim card. EDGE does not connect and my tmo plan includes the $5.99 web

I popped this in after getting T-Mobile to change my plan, it was a bit slow at first (There was no E in the box, was I using GRPS) but now it's the same as internet2.voicestream.net. It works with Mobilescrobbler which is great. Since It's pretty much the only thing I use over EDGE anyway. (Love having my driving plays appear on Last.FM!)

Just checking to see if I am doing it right:

-Got a free phone opening an account with tmo online (Individual Basic) $29.99
-Added TMobileWeb (AKA T-Zones) $5.99 online after receiving free phone
-Waiting on an iPhone (its in the mail, USPS, ugh) 1.1.4, 8GB from a random seller (good track record according to PayPal)

All I have to do is jailbreak, unlock, switch the SIM card, install tzones hack, reboot iPhone and I should be good, right??

P.S. I am planning to do the jailbreak/unlock with iLiberty? Will that be OK or should I use something else?

I Have a 2G iphone running on 1.1.2 and just installed the tzone hack. I rebooted and tried and it doesnt seem to work. Safari shows a message that says internal error. "You do not have access to the site in" and then the web address. Does anyone have an idea what that could be. I just changed my tmobile service today, so maybe its not activated yet?

ok, ive done everything thing i can think of, and its still not working for me, its been 24+ hrs since i got tzones and still no luck with anything, hopefully here soon with 2.0 pwn eventually they will get a tzones plan for 2.0 i guess im with wi-fi till then, god forbid i have to use it elselwhere

check cydia they just released an update for tzones hack, I tried it and it works, enjoy! It works on 2.0 firmware
