[Help] switch from AT&T to T-Mobile

Walk into a TMobile store and tell them you want to sign up for service; get one of their free phones or just ask them for the sim card; unlock the iphone; insert sim card into iphone; voila.

FYI - you will not be able to port a pay as you go number, so be ready to get a new number.

They probably will not care what kind of phone you have so long as it is a GSM phone. I bought my tmobile prepaid sim card from ebay with 150 minutes and it was already authorized with a phone number. I just add additional minutes when I need them. Works great!

1. You must have a jailbroken and unlocked iphone

2. If you want a full account with Tmobile, just sign up with them

3. If you want to use the Tmobile prepaid, just get a Tmobile Sim Card and purchase what minutes you want.

That's about it.

If you are going to get a regular account, just get a free or the cheapest phone they have and then you can take the sim card out and put it into your iphone.

If your want a prepaid account, there may be a small charge for the sim card in addition to the minutes. $100.00 will get you 1000 minutes which are good for 365 days. Hope this helps.

in order to get internet on your phone you'll need either tzones (the cheapest one that requires the hack) or the total internet add on for $19.99. if you get a prepaid account you won't be able to get either one

oh and if I want swirlyMMS to work would I need Internet and text messaging on my phone?
