    Default T-Mobile AIM, YAHOO, ICQ
With my T-Mobile messaging plan, instant messaging is free. There was a program on my HTC dash (installed by T-Mobile) that would let me log into AIM, YAHOO, or ICQ. I would not have to be connected to WI-FI for it to work. Is there a way to use this on my iPhone so i don't have to pay for the 5.99/19.99 plan or be connected to WI-FI?

    Thanks

you have to be on some kind of network. there is no msging program which utalized your txt instead of an internet connection.

or you can enable msg's on aim to be forwarded to ur phone number when ur not online, then you can jus communicate thru txt on AIM

tmobiles network as in edge? no such thing as "TMOBILES NETWORK"...

you have an iphone. AIM requires internet lol, you needa be online some how. tmobile provides a phone service to make calls, data service to get on the interweb, and txt to send msg's with words. you need some kinda connection go get on AIM unless AIM specifically programmed a system to get online with the phone your using.

Sounds like you need to sign into the App Store and DL the apps for AIM, ICQ or Yahoo or whatever your fave IM services are. It's really that simple.
