iTunes duplicate photo events

This started after I updated iPhoto to the latest version (9.1.2). Every time I try to sync my iPad 2 (4.3.2) and go to the photos tab i have this issue (check image)

I only have 16 events but iTunes is showing at least 30+ because they are showing up twice and the event in iTunes don't even show the same number of pictures in each. I've tried deleting the file under

finder-pictures-iphoto-right click-show package contents-ipod photo cache and nothing works...

I found this on apple's site but no solution.

Any help would be great, I know the mods usually post errors like this to the news page.

Interesting...I am now (the last few day) having the EXACT same problem. On phone with Apple Support now...wish me luck. Will post my findings

Well, apparently Apple has received duplicate reports of this same issue...and is working on it. Guess will have to wait and see. Clearly a broken link between the latest versions of iPhoto and iTunes.
