Opening a PList
I want to open a PList found in an App I downloaded from the appstore, when I try to open it I get this error. How do I fix it?
Code:The document “The Name of This.plist” could not be opened. Conversion of string failed. The string is empty.

Mac OS X already comes with a software that can open up .plist files. Just double-click on the .plist and it should open up the software (Property List Editor).

Guys, c'mon, i'm not a total nube. Property List Editor IS the application giving me that error. Something about this specific PList is different than the others I've edited. Is there some way to "decode" a PList or something?

Try changing the extension (.plist)
to .txt then open it and edit what ever you want.

I did that then I get a series of (seemingly random) characters.
