when i read this i think you mean you used internet sharing in the system preferences, and you share your ethernet connection via airport? in this case i assume you want to assign a key to the connection.
how to do this:
-open your preference pane
-click internet sharing
-select share the connection via "ethernet"
-check the checkbox "airport" to share the ethernet connection via airport
-now click the button that just appeared:"airport-options
-set a name of your network and set the key
-now check the box next to "internetsharing" in the list
now you are all set.
i hope this helps
