Waiting for other installations to complete

It sits there for hours and then the install fails. Searched around but no definite answer. I have two installs that I'd like to do but can't.

Start with Snow Leopard first and don't install anything else. If that doesn't work, install the others before Snow Leopard.

So you're suggesting I should reinstall Snow Leopard?

I thought you were updating Snow Leopard.

Well, try installing one thing at a time.

    Try this:

    sudo rm /private/var/db/mds/system/mds.install.lock

Oh, and you may need to do a reboot too
