default password is alpine and user name is root

You can't really access root on OS X. You don't really need to. However if you need to run something as root then 'sudo <command>' should do the trick. You will need your account password for this.
If you want to run SSH on your box then System Prefs > Sharing > Remote Login, turn that on and then SSH is enabled on your machine.
