having win7 only for a few days now on a multi boot iMac (running Leopard, Snow Leopard, XP Pro, Win 7 & Debian GNU) I have to say win7 looks slick and it probably is just that, but I'm always happy to boot back into Snow Leopard. In windows I feel like I have to work, where as OS X seems to be doing the job for me
So how's that JB stuff working out?
I'm still trying to get my 1st gen. into dfu mode

I really like what Microsoft has finally done with Windows with Windows 7. But I still use my iMac for far more for everyday things and other things.

I have been a Windows user for a long time and now finally have my first Mac and I like Snow Leopard a lot more than Windows 7. I like how clean Mac OS X is.

Each have their own benefits, go with both! I've got OSX running with Parallel and Win7 X64 so I can run all my AutoCAD and fuel mapping software on the windows side and everything else on the OSX side

Bootcamp is better. I use Parallel for light and quick windows apps but for other heavy hitters I just use bootcamp.

I'm a new Mac user so haven't used bootcamp. Why is it better? What can you do with it that parallel isn't good for?

Parallel is just using an emulation to run stuff. It does not give full hardware capabilities. Like I said for not heavy hitter programs and some light games it works fine. But to get the most out of your machine for say a game that runs in windows then boot camp is the best option.

The issue with Bootcamp is its drivers. Bootcamp drivers causes more crashes on Mac than PCs from my experience.

True. Just gotta get it right. Know if your graphics card is the mobile edition or not and several other items.
