New to Mac need some Help
Could someone please point me in the right direction to finding out more info on the basics of how mac OS X works, also I have been trying to find a file extensions definition list for OS X. I have been trying to google this stuff but I keep getting poor results. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I guess I should have been more clear. I don't need help using OS X I just want a better understanding of how a mac works. Like file structure and what types of file extensions they have and what their purpose is. Like what is the extension for drivers and common executables. Things to that sort.

The file structure is based off of UNIX. The .app is the applications (e.x. iTunes), .dylib is the dynamic library which can act as an application extension, .command and .sh are files used in Terminal which act like command prompt, .icns and .rsrc are image files of drives, folders, and applications, and .img, .toast, and sparsebundle are disk images. Driver extensions are unknown for now.
Other file extensions, such as .png, are cross-platform.Asking for help is different from being stupid. Fanboys can rot in @#$%!
