    Default How to update my mac OSX if...
    Is there a way to update my Mac OSX if I dont have internet at my house.
    As you all know they resently came out with a Mac OSX software update and i just recently cancled my slow, expensive, interenet. Is there a way to save the update on a flashdrive and somehow update it. Or some other way to get the update.

    and its a desktop computer so...

    well, if u have an iphone u can tetther ur update,
    public library wifi
    starbucks wifi

    its a desktop . i guess i could just walk into my library and start unplugging thier cables and attatching them to an iMac

    Apple - Support - Downloads That is where you can download the update to slap on the flash drive.

    Download the updates from Apple - Downloads on any computer, copy them to a flash drive, external hard drive, etc. and install them on your computer at home.

    If you are trying to update the OS, the offline versions are typically "Mac OS X 10.x.x (combo)". The latest vesion is 10.6.4 (Mac OS X v10.6.4 Update (Combo))
