Icon problems

For some reason i cant change the icons on my dock. and i had to name the Photos icon Photo.png instead of Photos.png. is there a file i can look at to see what the names are so i can change those icons? right now the standard names aren't working (iPod, Safari, Phone, and Mail)

if you are doing it manually, it would be icon.png and place these in your applications folders for each specific program. I would suggest using summerboard and then the theme function, in which case you would name the icon exactly what they are named on your homescreen, ie. safari = Safari.png, mail = Mail.png etc.

Thats what i am using, summerboard. i don't know what the deal is.
