    Default Template for Custom Backgrounds
Attached is a template .png file that you can use to make custom backgrounds for your iPhone. To use:

    1) Open in Photoshop.
    2) Copy/Paste Desired Background and delete the appropriate spaces from it. (Basically replace the black part ONLY with your Background and delete the "blanks" for other icons)
    3) Place an Icon in the Top Left blank space that corresponds with the top left icon on your Phone. (SMS By Default)
    4) Save as icon.png
    5) Replace the icon.png of the application in the top left corner of your iPhone with the icon.png you just made.
    6) Respring.

Be sure to back up the old icon since once you do this, you can't move the top left icon without making the screen look wierd.
Also, the cutouts are made to fit normal sized (58x58) icons. Some custom apps don't fill the space completely, so the 'blank' space that isn't filled will be the normal black color.

-edit- LOL, now that I think about it, you don't need to leave the blank spaces. Just replace all of the black area and all the blank spaces (except top left) with background. Since the top left icon is "behind" the others, the other icons will be on top of it by default.
