Gridlock DID have function inside FolderEnhancer. I could place my icons how I wanted inside a folder so my folders & Springboard looked the same. I'm not sure if it worked w/ Apple folders, though

Default No more high animation creashing problems after restore
I think this is pertinent to post here as well. Last place I'll 'spam it'.. Promise, Simon..

Hey gang.. Good news.. I've been zero crash-stable - after a full restore. It doesn't seem to matter which Lockscreen Player you use, LockHTML3, GroovyLock or Cydgets - the level of animation you run in your LS is no longer an issue if your phone is completely free of corrupt files - as is the case after a full DFU restore and re-jailbreak.

If you're still having lots of crashing depending on what's on your LockScreen - do a full DFU Restore.

Always back up your phone and clik on CHECK FOR UPDATE in iTunes to make sure it still says 7.0.4. If it does - restore away... And your crashing issue should be a thing of the past.

It's a good day in Jailbreak-land. Even though the WebView bug still exists in 7.0.4 which can cause problem with running animation on LockScreens - our MAIN problem we've been experiencing has most likely been from leftover corrupt files from the first WinterBoard before we got the update a few weeks ago. Cydia updated our WB then but didn't get rid of those corrupt files. Cydia doesn't get rid of old prefs files when it Upgrades or Removes a tweak.

So restore-away gang - if you're still having trouble and experience 'freedom again' - without crashing from animation on your Lockscreens!!
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

Seriously considering doing this. No crashes to speak of but two issues that bug me. 1) disk usage has dropped from 12 gb free space to 6 in a matter of days with very little added on after JB. I'm hoping iFile is mis-reporting this info. 2) Not that it's going to help but you never know, I'm one of the millions that have lost WiFi on a 4 s after updating to 7.0.4. I can tinker with it by rebooting etc. and eventually get it to come on and work for a day or two but soon as I launch Cydia, it kicks it off to data. I close out Cydia and it comes back up. Eventually WiFi will just quit with the option grayed out in settings. Can anyone give or provide a link to a detail way of restoring. Would I restore as new or what? I'm clueless on the best approach to go. Thanks

Don't use gridlock, it's not working well.

    Ashman's up to something.
He just released a dev tweak to support multiple pages on lockscreen.....
    LockInfo?
Interesting dev tweak idea though. Cydgetlike?

I'm not having a problem w/ Gridlock AT ALL!?!? I'm wondering why some do and some don't. After Icon Support was updated a while back, I've had no other issues.

On a different note, I've finally submitted my update for The RingMasker! Took a while and 11.5MBs later, it's finally done! I think that I'm done for a while, as well...to much regular life getting in the way! LOL!

    Just head to:

    private/var/mobile/Library/Caches

    delete com.apple.IconCache and respring.

Didn't know fswipecache did the icons cache as well, nothing in the description about it

Edit: you can just type uicache in mobile terminal, hit return then type killall SpringBoard hit return

Well try it. It does rebuild icon cache. Without respring.

    And UI cache. That's new

If you have CCToggles, there's a tweak called 'gUI Cache for CCToggles.' It'll clear your cache when you Respring

Thanks again Jato and the rest of the gang for such an amazing resource.

I've looked extensively through the extracted .car images, and I'm yet to figure out how the UI loading animations work in the status bar etc. I did a search on the thread, but can't seem to find the answer. I'm sure it's already been raised. If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated. thank you.

Is "clearing the cache" what a Winterboard respring does as opposed to other respring tools?
