No matter how many times I clear my cache the wifi dots (the theme I'm attempting to use) NEVER show up. The default remains. I'm using this location:

    /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.UIStatusBar/images/

Also, colorkeyboad is partially working! Got a custom BG but the color themes don't work. Hope that gets updated.

Still no luck theming the sms screen?

Are you sure the theme you're using for the Status Bar is iOS 7 compatible? Also...rename the images folder to images1, don't just clear it's contents.

are your status bar images in the UIImages folder or the Bundle/com.apple.UIKit, because if there in the Bundle/com.apple.UIKit they won't work.

you can delete all the files in:

    /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.UIStatusBar/images

without any issue, because they just rebuild

Edit: make sure there named correctly

Edit 2: all the names are wrong for the IOS 7 Wifi dots.theme and there are too many wifi images

Ok, I'm trying a signal bar theme of my own using the names:

[email protected] through [email protected] = 69 x 40 px

    and

    [email protected] through [email protected]

They are the correct sizes. I delete the files in the UI cache and still nada. And yes, they are in the UIImages folder. A sample of my theme can be found here. (Still WIP)

You also need another folder in your main directory:

YourTheme.theme/Folders/UIKit.framework/'all your images in here, too'

    Interesting...
-First off, you need that second folder I suggested.

-Your files were labeled .png.png so you need to remove the second .png off of them.

-Third, your theme needs to be labeled:
    Ghostbusters Signal 2.theme

    And here's the kicker...
Your image shows up on certain apps BUT on the Lockscreen/Homescreen, it just shows up as a white blob! :-(

yes I forgot it has to be monochrome, because of the code that sets it white or black when light or dark wallpaper is used.

also your image need to be slightly smaller, because it's clipping

Got it, will try it out later. Thanks. Weird though. My files aren't double labeled here?

So forgive me, but does that mean colors cannot be used? Yes, I have yet to resize anything as I simply wanted to get it working first.

it shows colours in an app, but it's monochrome on the home screen and lock screen and will be switched between black or white; depending on how dark the wallpaper is

Ok, I have got it working up the the point thazsar does. What I'm wondering is, there is no way to get color working on LS/HS?

It must have been labeled .png twice because I forgot to turn off that stupid setting in windows that doesn't display the full filename.

Shame. It does give me an idea for a different theme for signal bars though.

What if you use the same logo but make it black & white? Only problem is that the ghost would end up being black on the LS and HS.

iWidgets, alone, is never a reason for safe mode. It runs perfectly for me all day every day. I am unfamiliar with a couple of your tweaks there so I can't venture a guess. But I know iWidgets is not the cause of the conflict.
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!
