    This is what I got so far. I manually changed some icons without WinterBoard. I guess the trick is, once after you replace the icons, you need to ssh onto the device and browse around the file to kick start the icons. Afterwards, a quick respring changes it. Rebooting the device never worked for me. iOS7x Theme GUIDE-3f535647-d0a7-48e8-b9f4-0dde1aac0fff.png

    So here we are. Petrich's Icon Renamer at work.
    BUT, had install some Bootstrap from pwn24k repo. This also installed an app named Respring, and it's not Big Boss'.
    I had to remove the Big Boss one. Or it came with Hidden SBSettings7 from cydiahacks repo.
    When I use Icon Renamer, it crashes into safe mode.
    Respring app relaunches it and the mobile substrate relaunches, and yes, this happens for every icon.
    The respring w/bootstrap does get activator workng again though, as well as preference loader and the two slide to respring apps.
    Winterboard makes all of this NOT work.

    Waiting on news on how to get rid of that horrendous dock blur!!! I upgraded to iOS7 from iOS6 (on my iP5) just last night for the JB, i hope it doesnt come back to bite me as ih8sn0w will be releasing JB for iOS6 on Christmas day.

    Can also someone confirm that it is possible to change all the icons manually? after a respring?

    Yip it's totally possibly to change icons manually.

    Here's what I know

    As above & already u need to replace your original icons. I'd suggest just renaming them as opposed to completely overwriting them.

    Then go to

    Var/mobile/Library/Caches & DELETE the contents of "com.apple.IconsCache"

    Why? To clear the "cached" files of the icons the iOS creates. WB usually performs this when respringing. But since its not working we have to do it manually.

    Reboot/respring & the changes will be applied.

    You may also want to have PreferenceLoader installed to help from Cydia if it can be installed.

    That I believe is controlled by this header file

    SBDockView.h

    Extracted it to find this

    #import "_ABAddressBookCopyLocalizedLabel.h"

    #import "SBWallpaperObserver-Protocol.h"

    @class SBDockIconListView, SBHighlightView, SBWallpaperEffectView, UIImageView, _UILegibilitySettings;

    @interface SBDockView : _ABAddressBookCopyLocalizedLabel <SBWallpaperObserver>
    {
    SBDockIconListView *_iconListView;
    SBHighlightView *_highlightView;
    SBWallpaperEffectView *_backgroundView;
    UIImageView *_backgroundImageView;
    BOOL _accessibilityIncreaseContrastEnabled;
    _UILegibilitySettings *_legibilitySettings;
    }

    + (float)defaultHeight;

    - (void)layoutSubviews;
    - (void)setLegibilitySettingsid)fp8;
    - (id)dockListView;
    - (void)dealloc;
    - (id)initWithDockListViewid)fp8 forSnapshotBOOL)fp12;

    @end

    Does that help anyone?

    My gut feeling to kill the Dock effect may require a JB tweak to override the code.

    Thoughts?

    Have u looked in the SpringBoard app?

    /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app

    There's FolderMask@2x~iphone.png in there. Once again coded by the looks of it.

    But when u click on that mask it doesn't look anything like the image u c on ur screen, I guess I'm looking for what u actually c in ur screen so I can replace that file, so ur probably right about the coding that sucks

    The FolderMask changes image of folder when you are inside only. Is there another one somewhere?

    For Future Reference, Here's my backstory on this.

    When I Jailbroke my iPad 3 I immediately noticed that the Cydia isn't iOS 7 themed. I took upon the journey to theme Cydia to iOS 7 Looks. Eventually Realizing that you CAN'T THEME CYDIA. I did get to theme the icon though.

    Anyway for you to theme any app. ANY APP, you must navigate to /var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.IconsCache EVERY TIME YOU RE-THEME
    Anytime you decide to theme or re-theme any app, you must find the corresponding bundle identifier for that specific app, and delete it's corresponding iconcache first.

    Well, since we don't have an efficient way to respring. As of 12/23/13, just turn off and on your iDevice.

    Finally, If I'm wrong about Theming Cydia's UI, anyone that has insight on the possibilities to edit the UI so someone please respond.

    Here's Pics of My EPIC FAIL On Theming Cydia.

    Default Btw, Is there anyway to do this?
    Immediately When I Jailbroke my iPad 3, I noticed Cydia Wasn't Themed to iOS 7's looks. I took upon the job to try to re-skin Cydia's UI.
    To then utterly Rage Quit In the Process. However, I have only been able to change the icon.

    Anyone could give me some insight on how to theme Cydia's UI? If it is or isn't possible ATM

    The only thing that keeps me wondering is that The UI isn't present in app, but is present while in the Multitasking Menu.

    If anyone wants a copy of my UI, it is in the attachments
