Settings - Sounds - Text Tone

just make your sounds add them to iTunes as .m4r's and sync you can use ringtones as text tones

Are you wanting to just SSH your own text alert in & use that?

Pretty similar process to the Ringtone method I posted 2 pages back but for the text alerts instead...

Yip dsg's method seems a lot easier lol

    This worked for me.---

System/Library/Audio/UISounds/New Place your new alert file here. It needs to be a .caf file. And for some reason it has to have the same name as one of the existing files. I just renamed the old file.

I have them set to .10 instead of 0 so there is a slight folder background but not enough to intrude on the wallpaper too much.

This is indeed a bug in Hidden Settings7 here too. Every respring resets all settings to default - in terms of how they're applied on the SpringBoard. The settings themselves IN HiddenSettings itself have not moved from where you changed them to, but you have to reset all faders for them to take effect again. At least on my 5S that's what I'm experiencing. Has anyone contacted the Developer for a bug report?

Yeah I agree : it's got too many options for me, I experimented a bit with them, not seeing changes most of the time. Funny enough, my iAir keeps the settings through reboots and even on uninstalling the tweak.

[EDITED]BetrFoldr[/EDITED] offers some of the (worthy) options which HiddenSettings7 enables too, like closing folders on pinching (very intuitive on iPads), and blurring stuff.

    It's BetrFoldr, I think.
Is there anything beside HiddenSettings to make the folder icon invisible?

This was a tweak that corrected a WB restoring issue. Seeing that WB has not been updated, how could this tweak be remotely useful???
