Question Remove Gloss From App Icon?
    Hi Guys,

Im currently theming my theme and I have created all stock icons with no problem. However, I am now stuck with the non stock icons. When I theme these, it leaves a gloss overlay.

I have attached a screenshot and I have just tested Whatsapp.

What can be done about this?

    Thanks

    Hi

AppStore icons sometimes use AppIconOverlay@2x~iphone.png from the MobileIcons.framework in the iOS. It's hit and miss. Two ways I can see resolving this.

Try creating a transparent version & add to YourTheme. Make sure you save it as PNG-24. If you're using the Bundles method the folder for you to place it in will need to be called com.apple.mobileicons.framework

Or you could rename the file directly by taking the "@" out of the name and respring via WB.

    Location: System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MobileIcons.framework.

    See how that goes
