Thread: Modify banner images

    Default Modify banner images
Hey, so when I get a message while doing anything in the phone, my banner pops down, and displays the message, with the default message icon. Where would I go to locate this and change this image? I want it to match the rest of my theme, but can't for the life of me find where to locate this image anywhere on the internet or this forum.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look for smaller icons inside the app, last fm example:

Where would I find the messages app? I would assume that's where the small images would be located?

Unfortunately it can't be themed. The image you're after is

    BannerMask2x.png

    Located /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app

A cache somewhere is locking the original "BannerMask2x.png" image.

It's a known issue with theming iOS 6.

I guess he meant the small icon which pops up on the left side of the banner.
Also [email protected] is only responsible for the shape of the Notification Banner itself.

Depends on the App, com.apple.MobileSMS for example has some more Icons.
    I will list them here:

[email protected] (this is the main App Icon, which is shown on the Springboard)
[email protected] (this one is the same size as those inside Preferences.app, very important for Auxo)
[email protected] (this one will appear in the Notification Center and could also be the one on the Banner)
    [email protected]
[email protected] (one of these three is the icon which appear on the banner)

Edit: Did some selftest with iMessage and Facebook. Pretty sure it is the [email protected], 40x40 dimension.

OK, I'm gonna test this out, unfortunately my computer has decided to connect to an alternate WiFi system... so I can't SSH into my phone, joy.
