Hey everyone. I'm not new to jailbreaking or ModMyi, but I'm new to this forum itself. For creating Winterboard themes, are there any easier/safer ways than going into the root system and editing things? I tried CodeThemed, but it doesn't work basically.

From your phone, iFile from Cydia.
From your PC, try diskaid or iFunboxWidget-Weather App Now Available! Also with MyLocation Support!
Check out the thread here - Widget-Weather
To install the Widget-Weather app, just go to Cydia and install. This will also remove MyLocation, as it is built in!
Want to protect your JailBreak! Add this repo http://cydia.myrepospace.com/iLEXiNFO/ & Install "iLEX R.A.T."
It will allow you to bring your phone back to a fresh jailbroken state!

If theres any advice I can give is to at least BACK UP files & folders up before modding things.
Too many times in this forum ppl have deleted this or modified that then its a cry for help.
WinterBoard is a safer option. AGREED!
It uses a duplicate directory as per the iOS but overrides the iOS displaying its contents and instead displays the themed images/content.Twitter ID: @Jato_BZ

@King: Without going into the stuff like iFile. :P
@Boozie: There's no option to make themes last time I checked with WB.
