looking further into the "Info.plist" file, there is no "CFBundleIconFiles" which names the icon file. i have tried to add the same code from different info.plists and still no joy i put the new plist file in the original "Aplications/Signal.app" folder. nothing. i made a new "Signal.app" in the "Folders" section and added the plist file there. nothing. and i've also put the plist file into the same folder that as the themed icon is in "com.complicatedstuff.signal2" and guess what, still no joy

i have attached the "info.plist" thats in the "Applications" folder for you all to see. does anyone know how i can theme this icon. as it stands out next to the themed icons

    cheers
Have u tried theming it via the "Bundles" method? if not, does it have a Bundle ID? I can't open the plist file.

My thoughts are if it has a Bundle ID it can be themed via "Bundles"
The icon size I would be placing both a 114x114px version AND 118x120px version in the tweak theme folder.

But it could fall into the same category as the tweak "Zeppelin" which looks like it has to be manually themed. No one came back with saying it could be themed via WB.

    EDIT: Zephyr NOT Zeppelin

Oh Kenzo and I asked a few times with no response! Thanks King!

EDIT: oh this is Chpwn's "ZEPHYR"? I think Kenzo was trying to theme the Settings menu table icon.

This is for the settings icon for the zeppelin tweak that changes you carrier icon.

    Is there another zeppelin?

Zephyr from chpwn should not be confused with Zeppelin. If you're trying to theme Zephyr settings icon, I have a guide in my latest "4 You" package. It requires dropping a .plist I made into the preference folder, and it links to a bundle I made with all the "unthemeable" settings icons. Thank you.

Ahh gd wrk Sk37cH, sorry King its Zephyr, was just trying to remember from few weeks back. My apologies :-o
This sounds gd Sk37cH, my thoughts were that it needed a plist but I didn't get to test/try it out.

Really appreciated, Kenzo will be stoked to hear about this as he was trying to theme it with no luck.

Can the plist method be implemented do u think via Cydia as a Deb file within a WB theme or is it always going to require the end user to manually move files around?

I've yet to enquire with Tyler Mathews about this, but I think it could be implemented straight into the install process. The only issue I can see is that there's no bundle naming standard. So the last theme you installed/updated via cydia, is the only one going to work without mods by the end user. Once you have your plist in place, you'd either need to copy the one from the active theme, or rename the bundle in that theme. Quite a few themes don't touch these icons, so I normally just piggy back off my plist, and create the missing icons in PS. It's not ideal, but it does the trick without having to mod the system icons, and your changes aren't being overwritten when you update the tweak Thank you.

Yeah I did try the theme via "Bundles" but no luck I tried 118x120 & 118x124 (native icon size from app).

Here is the info.plist file for all to see

If you are trying to theme the blue/gray UI button bar glyphs in iTunes & I think AppStore no it can't be themed via WB.

We spoke about this extensively ages ago. These images appear to be cached AND streamed via Apple's servers.

The iTunes glyphs can manually be replaced via replacing the "cached" images. But as far as trying to incorporate it into a WB theme I believe you can't theme these images.

Hmm, I had issues with a few Cydia tweaks installed that would not theme even if using the same size as the original icon.

It does seem concerning that there is no Icon identifier as u have pointed out. Have u looked at the installed Signal "list" file? That's usually what I look at first. Its located

    /var/lib/dpkg/info

Look for "com.complicatedstuff.signal2.list" if you haven't already. It shows all files installed and the directories.

But this might be a tough one to theme.

have you renamed the Wallpaper folder it should have six alphanumerics after the name e.g.

Do you have the thumbnail images like I stated above! That's what you see in the settings/wallpaper app. They must be named like I stated above so that you can see them.
Widget-Weather App Now Available! Also with MyLocation Support!
Check out the thread here - Widget-Weather
To install the Widget-Weather app, just go to Cydia and install. This will also remove MyLocation, as it is built in!
Want to protect your JailBreak! Add this repo http://cydia.myrepospace.com/iLEXiNFO/ & Install "iLEX R.A.T."
It will allow you to bring your phone back to a fresh jailbroken state!
