Edit: BenderRodriguez we need you to keep telling us where your at or you'll lose your Jailbreak, kick the iDevice out of restore mode with Tinyumbrella
ive tried it just sits there on the booting apple logo, there is a point that itunes can fully see it, the apple logo is there but the background dims slightly

I'm following these instructions as best I can and they don't seem complicated:

    /var/stash/Applications/MobilePhone.app/en_GB.lproj

FIRST MAKE A COPY OF THE "GENERAL.STRINGS" FILE

Open up the General strings file in iFile (if possible) and in Property List Viewer (PLV) mode and the locate "Call" select this and then DELETE the word "CALL" and SAVE then RESPRING

The white "CALL" word is now gone and the WHITE phone symbol is left.

I'm using the English folder and what happens is the "Call" turns into "CALL" after I'm done. I can't find anyway to just get rid of the word. The author of ivent told me to use this thread to fix the white call overlay issue but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. This is my first attempt at modding pretty much anything... in case it's not obvious ;-) Any feedback or hand-holding would be appreciated!

ok for a start delete the DynamicLibraries you made and rename the original back to DynamicLibraries

then try renaming the .dylibs of the apps you updated e.g. alarming.dylib to alarming1.dylib and FrontHDR.dylib to FrontHDR1.dylib(or what ever there called)

also putback/replace the fonts you did edit with the ones from here:

    private/var/mobile/Library/BytaFont/Original

when you select a font and apply it in Bytafont it replaces the ones in the System/Library/Fonts/Cache so I believe you need to fix this by doing this below.

copy all the ones from here:

    private/var/mobile/Library/BytaFont/Original

    to:

    System/Library/Fonts/Cache

then try a hard reboot, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons down until it goes black and the Apple logo re-appears

If you mucked up a system file, you might be screwed.

If you get into a respring or boot loop, based on JB tweaks, the best way out is to uninstall mobile substrate safe mode. This will unload all you tweaks and basically put you back to a newly jailbroken state. Then reload your tweaks one by one.

I'm not sure what has exactly happened to your device, but if you can't get it to load, you might be beyond the point of no return.

This sounds like an issue that Simon can help with. Hopefully he sees my call and has an idea.
Widget-Weather App Now Available! Also with MyLocation Support!
Check out the thread here - Widget-Weather
To install the Widget-Weather app, just go to Cydia and install. This will also remove MyLocation, as it is built in!
Want to protect your JailBreak! Add this repo http://cydia.myrepospace.com/iLEXiNFO/ & Install "iLEX R.A.T."
It will allow you to bring your phone back to a fresh jailbroken state!
