Can the battery font and percentage icon on the status bar be coloured? I have already got bytafont and changed the font but I can't seem to find any info on how to change the colour. I know that the status bar clock colour can be changed with a key string in the info.plist file in my theme but does anyone know the key for the battery font? Just this battery colour and the phone font colour are the last things that I need to do to complete my theme

I would say that your theme is complete then. At this time neither can be changed.

Hmm i tried to create a blank file, but it obviously worked out it was corrupted and just bypassed it and used the original... any other ideas?? how can i create a 0px image?

These are not images anymore. In iOS 6 they are part of the system font.

It's not possible at the moment. It's now a system font and that can be tricky. All that we can hope for is that WB is given an option to theme it. My thoughts are this will be done via the "info.plist" we usually drop into our base theme. TimeStyle does the clock so one would hope BatteryStyle or something like that may do it for WB. Until then, it's not possible.

Not sure how it works, but have an invisible font in my BytaFont folder I found somewhere... I use it on the LockClock. Is that a 'color?' Thinking not...

Is it possible the change the font for the temp (and time in lockinfo/forecast) in weather app and widget?
Trying all the BytaFont settings, no dice.

might need to change @2x.png to @2x~iphone.png but i doubt it, this is for iPhone 4S on 6.1.2, image names might be slightly different on iphone 5 so tell us if this works
It did not work on my iPad 2 (iOS 3.1.2) :-(

What version iOS? Do you have two iPads? You have iOS 3 - iOS 6.

    Are you running transparent icons?

Can you put up a screenshot?

Tell us a wee bit more.

Those file names won't have the "@2x" as your iPad isn't Retina.

Took a break because I became uber frustrated with it. Nothing I change has an impact of it. I can either have the random backgrounds, or I can have the weather displayed, I can't get both to work at the same time. If you want to see ALL the code, please... Let me know. I am a VB programmer who's intuitive about programming in other languages but have no basis for comparison for this theme to learn from.

Trying to make a Chalkboard theme that looks like a slate chalkboard. No dock, no Icon labels, no shadows...

    One iPad (doh!) iOS 6.1.2
Not running transparent icons (theme, app, ???).
Running Summerboard (doesn't work at all otherwise - working on THAT too).
"No Docked Icon Labels" and "No Undocked Icon Labels" are running (not working either - because of Summerboard).
Removed the "@2x" from the names and its still not working.
    Screenshot attached.

Have u looked in the SpringBoard app to find those files and how they are named? At a guess they will be named similar but with no "@2x" and "ipad" at the end.

At a guess, cos my iPad is at home.

    WallpaperIconDockShadow~ipad.png
    WallpaperIconShadow~ipad.png

    And then

    AppIconShadow~ipad.png

    In the MobileIcons framework.

I would just try renaming them if possible. Will have to investigate later on sorry.

It SHOULD be those three files.

Found the 3 files. Look like the 3 I want to replace. Modified copies of the files to be transparent. Apparently my folder naming conventions are inaccurate. Using "com.apple.SpringBoard" and "com.apple.MobileIcons.framework". Tried adding ".framework" to springboard folder. It's still not working.

    com.apple.mobileicons.framework
    com.apple.springboard

EXACTLY as they appear. WB is case sensitive.

See how you go. You might get away with AppIconShadow being transparent in YourTheme folder but it's my
Understanding the original source files need to be renamed for it to work completely.

This post may help you more as its from Jahooba a Theme creator and how he runs transparent icons in his theme.

    Dock = SBDockBG~ipad.png
    Dock Refelection = SBDockMask.png

    Located in the SpringBoard app

Icon labels? There is a WinterBoard theme when you initially install that has UnDocked/Docked Transparent icons
    Default.

A simple plist with the opacity set to "0" sorts them.

    See how u go

you should be using an html file, should be Wallpaper.html
try opening the html file on your computer using Safari since thats what the native browser is on the iphone the result should look like what the iphone sees but if the image is offscreen this view will show it unlike the iPhone, try throughing a border in so you can see how big the iphone screen appears

Thanks. Figured it out. Had a couple issues. One being that I wasn't going up a folder level to get to the correct folder (doh!)

Odd question... How do you find the app names (eg: "com.rovio.AngryBirdsSpace") for an app? I need this so I can actually work a "proper" winterboard theme.

My first post of this thread goes in detailed specifics on theming for iOS 6 and covers Bundle IDs and that may help you understand all of that.

    See if that helps.
