anyways does anyone know about this black almost transparent looking rectangular background in the notification center? I know its themeable. because ive saw it on other themes like Glasklart.

Hey Jato_BZ,

I really appreciate this thread and the work you have contributed into compiling it. I have followed your steps into making custom themes, yet, I have a slight problem regarding the shadow. If you could look at my thread and see the problem and maybe a solution to it, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Oh, that window can only be themed via WB. Are u running WB or no?

Those aren't for that list view though. The black one is for the button bar and the other is for when you select one of your accounts like in my pic

I can't find that other one. Dont even know where those images are stored. Only reason I have those is because of Z|ui theme had those themed. I just used the names and made new icons myself. It was for a theme I put together to go with the Metroon and os7 dreamboard themes.

Finally found the folder for those mail icons! Was going crazy looking for those. They are in \System\Library\PreferenceBundles\AccountSettings\ MobileMailSettings.bundle. If themeing through WB then put in
Bundles\com.apple.mobilemail.settings

Been searching google and the site and cydia for a way to mod folders on my iphone5. Just not finding anything that works. Most of the stuff on cydia is severely outdated and lacking any sort of compatibility description. Got a feeling I'm missing something incredibly simple.

I've group all apps and what not into six folders. I don't care for the 'preview' of mini icons on the folder so I've cleared that in springtomize2. Now they're just plain gray boxes. I'd like to create my own icons and use those for the folders. Not afraid to dig in and get my hands dirty, but I'm not clear where to start.

Should I be looking at custom folder backgrounds? Is that where the folder icon "image" is generated?

Is there a default folder that I need to replace? If this is the case, would these exist for each folder I've created?

Use iFunBox and navigate to System\Library\CoreServices\Springboard. In that folder copy FolderIconBG@2x~iphone.png and FolderDropBG@2x~iphone.png to your pc and edit them however you like. The first one is the main image of the folder and the other one is what you see briefly when you are dragging an app into a folder. When you are done you can paste them back in that folder if you don't use winterboard or if you do use WB then put them in the Bundles\com.apple.springboard folder of whatever theme you use

I went the 1st route and nothing happened. Dig around a bit and deleted the following, then rebooted. Bam it works.
Icon cache:
/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.IconsCache

Springboard cache:
/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.springboard
/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.springboard.sharedimagecache

I found the problem. Just a misplaced layer that covered the whole canvas. Keep up the good work. I had admins remove the thread because I found the solution.
