    Bingo!

I tell everyone to never restore from backup. Especially to a new iOS that had previously been JB'd. This probably accounts for 90% of the problems. Always get a nice true DFU restore and setup as new prior to any JB.

But I'm glad that you are up and running.

Glad this got resolved! May be something to do with the ringtones? Can't imagine why unless one of them was corrupt, maybe iOS tried to read them on start up and stuck?

    Either way sweet news!

We will start a new one once we have a good grasp of what's going on with iOS 7.

Well some of the updated apps on the AppStore are now iOS7 ready.Mostly likely the icon-xxx file names are the iOS7 versions if the app has dedicated icon-ios6 file names.

As for the theme guide, this is in discussion & I'm hoping most of the team if not all will jump on it for support. Obviously there is a few things to sort.

    1) Jailbreak
    2) WinterBoard Compatibility

Also with iOS7 all app pngs are now compressed into .car files. There are no longer all the pngs inside App folders. Themeing iOS7 IF possible is going to be a very VERY different beast.

But keen to as everyone else will be. U didnt update did u? There's talk of a 6.1.3/6.1.4 JB in the works...

Also when u had problems with ur JB ages ago had u been mucking with the LockClock.ttf directly? I had an issue a month or so ago when I modded by LockClock.ttf font in Caches but it had the wrong UPM values so stayed on the apple boot logo screen. I managed to SSH into phone when home & deleted the wrong sized Lockclock.ttf & phone booted fine. Apparently the phone will not boot if the Lockclock.ttf UPM values are wrong.

Well if we don't have a guide for iOS 7, we will have an iOS 7 bashing thread!

'Crash Reporter' and 'syslogd to /var/log/syslog' are two things in Cydia which can help find out the causes.

I'm having a similar crashing problem after months of stability and no recent new tweaks. And I've downloaded Crash Reporter and syslogd (uses Symbolicate) but I'm having trouble understanding the report itself. It tells you which "thread crashed" but doesn't hint at any specific tweak that's the issue. Is there any way to decipher more specifically which tweak is the culprit. And if the culprit seems to be "Springboard" - what the hell would that mean?
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

At the end of my latest syslog on my last springboard crash was this :
    Code:
Sep 23 21:53:59 iPhone SpringBoard[35952]: SpringBoard expects an application bundle at /Applications/MultiCleaner_SpringBoardIcon.app
Which points to the culprit : I renamed the Info.plist at that path in a clumsy attempt to prevent that icon from showing in my homescreen.

Thanks sir.. But how did that line in the syslog give you the hint about info.plist? That's the tricky part for me.. What does Springboard.app at that path have to do with info.plist?

Lol no, my bad : I renamed the Info.plist of MultiCleaner.app's SpringBoard icon. MultiCleaner is a pre-iOS 6 tweak allowing full control of multitasking. You can 'dock' favourite apps in the multitasking tray, and have options for an icon on springboard toggling the switcher, and for another one in the multitask switcher to go back to Homescreen. Basically a workaround to broken home buttons
