Hello again. I'm out and only have my laptop, so I can't skin the icon for you yet. I thought I'd show what I came up with, and you can shed some light on what exactly you need. I can see several things in the icon you showed.
-The noise (or distortion) on the background.
-The white glow behind the glyph.
-The stroke that's around the glyph appears to be set to "Darken Colour" blend mode.

I've tried to incorporate all these effects as best I can. What theme is it for? Do you need it skinned? Any other changes that you'd like?
Sorry for not understanding the exact specifics of your original request. The back and forth thing is just how I work. It tends to get the best end result, that will be pretty close to what you want. Thank you.

Lol. My bad. I see now. So no "A" just the music note

Unmasked is fine? I can mask it, but you'd need to tell me what theme it's from. If you have PS, you can mask the icon easily yourself

This is where I'm at. Let me know how it masks up. Everything is centered to the icon you gave me, but you can just move it round under the mask to suit. I'm about to throw a movie on, so I won't be able to make any changes tonight. Thank you.

Just to prove I don't stuff around, I included a screen cap of the path, and that's before we get to photoshop....close enough???? :P It's made up of 12 shapes that were merged/excluded/combined to make the red line you see around the music note. Please mask this, and post, before any further changes. I need to see what shadows are included in the mask, and what it does to my image. It will save me doing another change and then you masking it, and realizing it's too dark....or needs corner shadows, or..... see where I'm going

Looks good bro. I made the largest dimension the same as the AppStore one, and changed the image ratio to match that of the 180x120 you posted. It turned out good, I reckon
