Thread: iRealSMS icon is never themed......

Default iRealSMS icon is never themed......
I can never get a themed icon to load. Always have to get the sms themed icon from a folder in the theme being used and place it in the /private/var/Applications/iRealSMS.app folder. So everytime I use a new theme, I need to go into the Applications folder and change the icon. Does anyone know of a better alternative?

Just sounds like the filename an directory isn't correct. You shouldn't need to replace the default or native icon with the themed icon. You need to go into that application which isn't theming and open up Info.plist file. This easily done within iFile. Locate the "CFBundleIdentifier" and this is the name of the "Bundle" that the theme needs to duplicate to override the original App icon. Check both the Bundle name and also icon names are correct. If they are wrong it won't theme, they are also case sensitive too.

    Good luck

Can't you just use "themeiconmaker" (not sure about spaces)?

iRealSMS works off of the native app. So here is what you need:

    Bundles/com.apple.MobileSMS

I agree, themeiconmaker is not for me either.
