Weed out the easiest problems first--is the theme coded to work on 5.1.1? There are a ton in the store now that don't work on 5.1.1. Are you properly stacking the theme options in Winterboard?

Need a lot more info on your problem or what it is your trying to do. WinterBoard works in a hierarchy, meaning; them on top (as you can re-position the order) takes presidents over themes below. If the theme your using has several themeing options, make sure it is set up with the main theme at the bottom.
A screen shot of how you have WinterBoard setup or a screenie of what the issue is, we can help more.
