So if you go to /var/mobile/Applications, there'll be folders with scary numbers on them. just pick one and then it will have a file that says iTunesArtwork, click that and then image viewer... is that the icon??

Its not really an icon =O So when you download apps, they are actually just squares, but your iphone applies a mask, that makes them that famous rounded square with that famous gloss. Those are two files. One is called [email protected] but it doesnt work for me.

actually no, it's not but if you click the folder that says Tabs.app it says [email protected] and that seems to be the appicon
idk i guess i'll back out now, i'm out of ideas lmao.
i think i'll go play Super Mario Bros. on the NES like a boss ;D

Hello, I am reading your post and all the help is very useful. I am also trying to edit a lockscreen MP CUBE LS. It comes with about 20 or so .png images that I would like to change. I have a 3gs running IOS 5. When I go to change it with my own images, then copy the HTML to my desktop to confirm if it works, the image in unable to render but if I put the original back in the folder it works fine. I tried naming the .png to .2xpng hoping that would resolve the issue, but no luck. Any ideas???

it's supposed to be @2x.png, not .2xpng,, so i'd try that first
