The problem here is that after you wrote -a you put down the path to where your .artwork file is but you also have to put in the name of the file you wanna extract --> extract -a C _ \ _\[email protected] Everything should be fine after

Anyway, What happened here is that you either resized the image when modding it or you saved the image with the wrong name. My suggestion is that you find the original (stock) image named GradientFill@2x and see what's different between your edited and the stock image and try to fix the image from there. Good luck, hope all goes well
Thanks for the reply, the theme I am trying to use is UI Revamped. The names are spelt correct it is just he has different sizes in part of his themes.

Ok, if they're supposed to be different sizes then I think you have to edit the image because this method requires that the are exactly the same size as the stock images.

So what you need to do is edit the path that you put after -a and add the name of the .artwork file like so: C_\_\[email protected]

Do you know of any other way to do this on iOS 5 without requiring a Mac?

You do not require a Mac, you can use Windows for this, if that's what you mean. If you're asking if it's possible to do this without a computer, then the answer is No as far as I know. Someone should create an application for Windows and Mac that can extract and compile the .artwork files but so far this hasn't been done :/

I mean is there a way to make a .artwork file with images larger or smaller than the default for a custom UI?

i dont think thats possible and if it is i havent heard of it. The thing is, Winterboard is able to do that so if someone can find out how winterboard manages this i guess it would be possible.

Thank you, I am aware of Winterboard but am against it as it shows the default UI for 2 seconds, lags the phone and more.

I guess I will replace what I can then.

The artwork file isn't actually named that it should be "Shared....artwork"

Most probably. If you are using the newest python imaging library and are on python 2.7 or higher, then it's the iOS 5.1, if not upgrade to 2.7 and try again

    Hi CrAcKzZZ,

I returned to this thread to ask if you know how to change the Keyboard theme manually without ColorKeyboard (because I like the keyboard everywhere and ColorKeyboard does not apply to Cydia) and I am against Winterboard.

Secondly, do you know anything about this?
    Ran into a problem

The problem with the UI Revamped theme is that its not updated to iOS 5.0 or higher and the creator of the theme says he will not be updating it. This is probably the reason why it does not look proper. As for the Keyboard thing, I'm not very sure, i heard of this .artwork file called Keyboard-StandardQWERTY which had to do with Keyboard theming but I cant seem to find it in my iPod. If i find anything else on it ill pm you

I find it pretty weird that they updated the UI in 5.1, not sure what they would need to change

I found Keyboard-Emoji but that isn't really it. I have made the images using Photoshop to the correct size and messing about and made it look like normal so it is in the correct size and not his default "Winterboard" size. I am trying to indentify what images Safari and Maps use so I can change and mess about further to my liking.
