I would like to take some pictures off my iPhone manually because itunes doesnt seem to allow me to take my pictures off of it with uploaded pictures. Much love

    Try private/var/root/Media/DCIM/100APPLE (or ~/Media/DCIM/100APPLE)


    You'll have to delete both the .JPG file and the .THM file to get it completely off.

    Once you plug in your iPhone to your PC, there should be a "drive" in my computer that you can copy/delete them straight off.

    yea I love that it works like any digital camera does with a removable hard disk in my computer

    My only complaint is that they aren't "pictures" and they restart file names, making me rename the ones I've already copied..

    One major flaw is this:
    Each photo you take creates a thumbnail image also, so it can be displayed in the camera roll. If you copy all your camera roll pictures to your hard drive, as to not lose them on a restore (as I did), you can then copy them all back, but to preview them in the camera roll, you will need to create a thumbnail for each photo. Is there an easier way?
