Does anyone know how to make a transparent status bar WITHOUT Winterboard? Like modifying a .png file in some .artwork files or something? I dont like Winterboard because it drains

    Does anyone know how to make a transparent status bar WITHOUT Winterboard? Like modifying a .png file in some .artwork files or something? I dont like Winterboard because it drains my battery sooo quickly.

    just download a clear lockscreen theme for winterboard and then replace the original files with the ones from the theme. you can ssh, or use ifile. where those files are and what they're named will depend on what iOS you are currently on

    im on 4.2.1, thats the problem

    for winterboard i already had transparent status bar, but i dont like using it.

    Download it, copy the files and replace the original files on ur phone. They should be in system/library/privateframeworks/telephoneUI.framework
