Trying to change the carrier logo to a png ios 5

I have sprint and want to change the "Sprint" to a png file, has anyone figured out how to do this yet, seem to just be giving myself a headache. I've looked in the carrier bundles and there isnt even a file to replace

Ok so i tried it the winterboard way all i got was no logo, started over and tried it the commcenter way and all i got was an iphone stuck in a reboot cycle. so yeah, I think I will pass until someone with more experience comes up with something. But thank you anyways. At least I will have something to do for the next 4 hours.......

The mod works fine. I encourage you to try it again after you jailbreak and before you restore your info.

Seems mighty strange to me that you would get stuck in a reboot cycle by using the cydia patch for commcenter (I patched mine manually so I had to restore my device many times until I got it to work properly. 2 hours to restore iphone -.-)

Ok well I got it to work but this isn't compatible with something I had on my iphone. I restored everything from Cydia that I could remember and that I needed and it hasn't crashed yet so fingers crossed. I tried it from a fresh install and idk if that made a difference or not. oh well. but I have actually started this as a package for Cydia and could use your help with the code part. If your interested I will compile what I have and send you a link and you can edit the code part of this zip file. I haven't made it into a debian file yet and I will. idk where you would want to go with this (winterboard or commcenter) but let me know.

Actually myself and RaWr made our own which is better than that one called Sprint & Verizon Custom Carrier iOS 5 it's live on my repo and awaiting approval from MMI and it actually works. I've read too many places of people complaining that it don't work.
