    I left my iPhone 4 at 4.2.1.

    I use the following things:

    home icons skinned and application icons skinned
    no wallpaper gradient (that darkens the homescreen background)
    no shadows/backgrounds behind icons
    no labels for docked and undocked icons
    no homescreen statusbar (transparent)
    sms theme- bubbles and background
    transparent bottombar and topbar and barLCD in telephonyui.framework
    i also have a simplscreen (html lockscreen) MacThemes Forum / [Lockscreen] SimplScreen
